This Table is associated with an object that automatically totals all sub pay records of that period into this record. One Period only has one record. The YTD, Import module will write into this record instead of creating sub period record.

Each payment within the pay period is placed in a sub-period. The pay period is 1 payroll cycle.
For pay periods set as 1 calendar month:
- A monthly payment group is set as a single sub period pay group.
- A weekly payment group is set as a four sub-periods pay group.

System generated identifier. It is blind to the user. It also holds the primary key for the Employee table.

Shows the generating identity of the pay record for that period. This is the primary key for the PayPeriodRecord table.
Example: A1 / A66 / A110

Shows the year for the pay record.
Example: 2012

Shows the period for the pay record.
Example: January = "1", February = "2", March = "3" etc.

Shows the employee's section identity for the pay record for that period/year.

Shows the employee's cost centre identity for the pay record for that period/year.

Shows the employee's category identity for the pay record for that period/year.

Shows the employee's department identity for the pay record for that period/year.
Example: Sales / Finance / HR

Shows the employee's branch identity for the pay record for that period/year.

Shows the employee's position identity for the pay record for that period/year.
Example: Clerk / Manager / Executive

Shows the employee's pay group identity for the pay record for that period/year.
Example: 1 Payment Group / Project

Shows the employee's work calendar identity for the pay record for that period/year.
Example: 5 Days Week Cal

Shows the employee's leave group identity for the pay record for that period/year.
Example: Absent / Annual / No pay etc.

Shows the employee's salary grade identity for the pay record for that period/year.

Shows the employee's categorization of what the employee does in the company for the payroll.
Example: Contract / Part-time / Project / Permanent
