This is used to automate some of the processing, like insert recurring pay elements, medical claim policy, assign overtime tables and so on. Automation can help verify leave balances, contract periods etc when employees have a status change.

There are 4 different types of automation processes:
Employment, Confirmation, Cessation and Career Movement.

Shift is under:
- Employment Processes and it is activated upon creating a new employment record. It assigns shift table defined.
- Career Movement Processes: Activated upon using Process Career feature or when a Career Progression record is marked current. It updates shift table.

Shows the identity of the shift table. This also acts as a primary key for the Shift table.
Example: Standard Shift Table

A system generated identity. It is blind to the user. This is also the primary key for the MapShift table.
