There are 2 main types of audit logs that Sage EasyPay Control can generate:
- Login Audit: Keeps a record of successful logins
- Audit Trail: Keeps a record of the changes made by users in the Core and Payroll Modules

By default, the Audit Trail is disabled as it will capture all the changes made, including personal data and wage sensitive data. There is an additional login report, the Transaction Audit. It translates log files created by Sybase Central into SQL statements. It is meant to be used together with the Login Audit and the Audit Trail. However, because there are several hundred tables in Sage EasyPay, keeping track of changes to each table is pointless and will only serve as a distraction.

The Audit Trail Report is currently limited to the following tables: AllowanceRecord, BasicRateProgression, DetailRecord, Employee, PayEmployee, PaymentBankInfo, PeriodPolicySummary and ResidenceStatusRecord.

Shows the identity of the audit trail. This acts as the primary key for the AuditTrailTable entity.

Shows the identity of the user.
Example: EPEMaster etc

Shows the IP address of the audit.

Shows the exact date and time of the audit.
Example: 2013-03-05 15:49:04.888

Shows the type of event for the audit.
Example: Update / Insert / Delete

Shows the table name for the audit.
Example: PayEmployee / BasicRateProgression / PeriodPolicySummary etc

Shows the field name for the audit.
Example: CurrentBasicRate / BRProgNewBasicRate / TotalCDAC etc

Shows the employee ID for the audit.

Shows the key for the audit trail table.

Shows the key for the audit trail table.
