This is used to automate some of the processing, like insert recurring pay elements, medical claim policy, assign overtime tables and so on. Automation can help verify leave balances, contract periods etc when employees have a status change.

There are 4 different types of automation processes:
Employment, Confirmation, Cessation and Career Movement.

Item batch is under:
- Employment Processes and it is activated upon creating a new employment record. It assigns items to employees.

Shows the identity of the item batch. This is the primary key for the ItemBatch table.
