The Benefit and Compensation module helps to track the insurance coverage and pay-out to employees. Basic insurance related features are available, ranging from setting up new policies to payment and compensation. You can set up both Group and Individual policies, where Group refers to group coverage for employees and their families and Individual for only employees. Records of beneficiaries nominated by employees can be stored here as well.

A system generated identity. It is blind to the user. It also holds the primary key for the InsurGroup table.

Shows the sub period for the payroll.

Example:
Sub period 1 = 1 Payment Group (Hourly, Daily & Monthly rated)
Sub period 2 = 2 Payment Group (Hourly, Daily & Monthly rated)
Sub period 3 = 3 Payment Group (Hourly & Daily rated), divided by 3 and the balance is placed in the last sub-period
Sub Period 4 = 4 Payment Group (Hourly & Daily rated)

Shows the start period for the payroll.
Example: January = "1", February = "2", March = "3" etc.

Shows the start year for the payroll.
Example: 2013

Shows the end period for the payroll.
Example: October = "10" / November = "11" / December = "12" etc

Shows the end year for the payroll.
Example: 2014

Shows the identity of the pay element.
Example:
INCO = Income Tax Deduction / Withheld
NOIL = Notice in Lieu Deductions
NATI = National Service Pay
COMC = Community Chest
etc
