This entity holds records of the different countries. It only stores the code and name for the country. This entity can be used in any place that involves the particular country.

Example: Country of birth in the Personal entity and the country of the company. It may also be used in the address section as the country of the address.

As this is a look up table and will not be linked to any other entity, the application will then have to control the changes made to this entity.

Shows the identity of the country. It is unique for each country. It is also the primary key for the Country table.
Example: USA (United States of America) / UK (United Kingdom) / SIN (Singapore)

Shows the full name of the country.
Example: United States of America / United Kingdom / Singapore

Stores the telephone code for telecommunication for each country.
Example: Singapore = 65 / Australia = 61 / Malaysia = 60

Shows the nationality for the country.
Example: Australian / Malaysian / British

Stores the currency for the country.
Example: Singapore = SGD / Australia = AUD / Vietnam = VND
