An Accrual item requires substantial set up in many different areas.
It is computed in the following way:
Accrual Item amount = Accrual Item Basis Formula amount x Accrual Method formula amount

To setup, you only need 2 items: Accrual Item and Accrual Item Method.
If your accrual item is based on the payroll module, you will need to run the payroll (for the month) before creating the accrual records.

Shows the identity of the accrual item. It is also the primary key for the AccrualItem table.

Stores the description or full name for the accrual item.
Example: Accrued Annual Leave

Shows the module for the accrual item.
Example: Payroll / Leave etc

Shows the type of the accrual item.
Example: Pay Record / Leave type etc

Shows the field of the accrual item.
Example: Annual

Shows the level of the accrual.

Shows the option for the accrual.
Example:
Monthly - To compute the accrual every month
User Defined - To compute the accrual at specific timings
Custom Module - A customizable module when the accrual algorithm does not fit into the specific timings. Upon installation and customization, the DLL file will pop-up for selection

The Dynamic Link Library (dll) name, also the file extension name.
Example: SingaporeLaserPayslip.dll

Shows if the record is a payout item, in a form of a checkbox.

Enables the customer to customize the section. It comes in a form of a checkbox. The customer can create a questionnaire and have the option to either check or uncheck the box. Ticking the box will show “1” in the database while not checking the box will show “0”.
